Space Cat
I made a tv show on Google slides. It’s not really a tv show but it is fun and it’s about cats in space. It is a real motion picture. I did this by using the animate feature in Google slides. The animate feature lets me make planets seem bigger over time, as though you are getting close to them.
I was doing a UCLA course with an app called Soundtrap which needed Google Chrome. Luckly, I had a Chromebook handy. When they were doing Zoom they were doing a game called instrument Jeopardy. It’s not like usual Jeopardy, like the show, but it requires Google slides.
When the game was done, I had an idea. I would make my own show. I started with doing my own Jeopardy games with figuring out how to animate a magnifying glass to make text appear. I kept using Google slides and I figured out the Google image search feature, which gave me a big help. I used the image search on almost every picture you’ll see in the following link.
Instructions: When you are in Google slides, please click on the “Present” button on the upper right. You will see the show in full screen mode. Then you can click on any episode you like.
