Hi, I’m Bodhi
I’m an author, designer, artist, performer, and fourth grader. I publish a quarterly magazine for kids called Cats Jumping on the Couch. Learn more about it here and order your own copy. I also publish books and custom journals that you can order in the mail.
My first book, Max Frederick’s Nap, was created by hand. I painted all the backgrounds myself and my father helped me put them into the book. Then, I took the iPad out of his hands and started making books by myself, without any adult supervision. The first book was called The Antics of Max Frederick, and was followed by a travel guide about what to see in and around Santa Monica, and a how-to book called How to Raise a Pet Cat. I am producing these books too quickly that my editor can’t keep up. They will be coming out soon.
I like camping, inside or out. I believe in human rights, and I like the beach. I am pretty good with a Frisbee. My parents take me hiking. I like to scooter. I have a mom named Tabby, and a dad named Lee. I have a cat named Max Frederick. You might recognize that name. I have a lot of cousins and a brother and sister. My grandmother is named Tania but I call her Bopi. My granddaddy is named Wharton but everyone calls him Tinny. He is also an author and illustrator of The Story of Timmy Sprite.
